International Technology Transfer (ITT Licensing) has developed working relationships with a network of independent registered patent attorneys that assist our clients with all of their intellectual property protection needs.
ITT Licensing’s Optional Patent Attorney Referral Service (OPARS) allows ITT Licensing’s clients to explore all of their possible legal options, without further obligation, regarding the protection of their product idea, irrespective of what level of development they have achieved with it at that point in time.
Member firms in the OPARS consist of attorneys with extensive experience in all areas of intellectual property protection, including but not limited to the searching and filing of provisional patents, utility and design patents, trademarks, and copyrights.
The OPARS offers ITT Licensing clients the additional benefit of discounted rates for all of the professional legal services provided by the firms that are part of the program. Essentially, while ITT Licensing insures that the client’s product licensing negotiation needs are met, the member patent law firms of OPARS help them secure their concept appropriately. With proper intellectual property protection in place for their ideas, ITT Licensing clients have the peace of mind that their concepts enjoy a considerable measure of security when presented to manufacturers, marketers, and distributors throughout industry.
